Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -03 -074 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING 1 PARTIAL PAYMENT TO DRYDEN <br />EXCAVATING FOR IP 10 -24 656W DRAINAGE OUTLET <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the preparation of plans and <br />specifications, the solicitation of quotes, and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the solicitation of quotes for 656W Drainage Outlet, proposals <br />were received, opened, tabulated, and a project awarded according to law on February 8th, 2011; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Director /Principal City Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected <br />the completed work and recommends partial payment to Dryden Excavating in the amount of <br />$23,682.55. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Dryden Excavating for the <br />656W Drainage Outlet in the amount of $23,682.55. <br />2) That the City Council hereby accepts the pay request and authorizes the Mayor or City <br />Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. <br />3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the date of March 22, 2011. <br />4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this <br />resolution. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Tossey upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -03 -074 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
