Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />RESOLUTION CONSIDERING THE PROBATIONARY <br />PERIOD FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND <br />MARKETING MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Aaron Backman was hired for the position of Economic <br />Development and Marketing Manager on November 8, 2010 and was subject to a six - <br />month probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Backman has worked for the city for six - months while on his <br />probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee recommends a 90 -day extension to the <br />probationary period. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />Motion to approve resolution 11- 04 -XXX confirming the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to extend Mr. Aaron Backman's probationary period by 90 <br />days. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 26 day of April, 2011 <br />G:AAdministration \1 HumanResources \Performance Evaluations \Ending Probation \Community Development \Backman, Aaron <br />Revised Resolution 04- 26- 11.docx <br />
