Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-07-170 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0650 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM THE OWNER OF 17120 TIGER STREET N.W. FOR A VARIANCE <br />FROM THE MINIMUM LOT WIDTH REQUIREMENT IN THE R-1 RESIDENTIAL <br />(RURAL DEVELOPING) DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Robert LeTendre and Theresa Wiebe, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", have properly applied for a Board of Adjustment variance to the minimum lot <br />width requirements in the R~I Residential (Rural Developing) District for the purpose of <br />subdividing the property generally known as 17120 Tiger Street N.W. and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 1, Tranby Terrace 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicants appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing pursuant to <br />Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on June 5, 2003, and that said public hearing was <br />properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a <br />part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential and is located in the Rural Developing <br /> area on the official Zoning Map. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is 17.2 acres in size. <br /> <br />4. That the Applicants have stated an intention to subdivide the Subject Property to create a <br /> buildable lot for their daughter. <br /> <br />5. That Section 9.20.11, Subd. 4, of the City Code establishes a minimum lot size of two and <br /> one-half (2.5) acres. <br /> <br />That the new lot created is proposed to be three (3) acres in size and the existing homestead <br />will be approximately fourteen (14) acres in size, which complies with Section 9.20.11 of the <br />City Code. <br /> <br />That Section 9.20.11, Subd. 4, of the City Code establishes a minimum lot width of two <br />hundred (200) feet and Section 9.02 defines lot width as the width measured at the property <br />line abutting the street and continuing to the building setback line. <br /> <br /> <br />
