WHEREAS, on May 5, 2003, the Developer submitted a preliminary plat to the City for <br />the development of the Subject Property to be named Alpine Acres 2nd Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 5, 2003, the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing and <br />recommended the City Council approve the preliminary plat of Alpine Acres 2na Addition <br />contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated May 30, 2003, the City Council <br />approving a comprehensive plan amendment to change the land use designation in the <br />Comprehensive Plan from low density residential to medium density residential, and the property <br />being rezoned from R~ 1 Single Family Residential to R-2 Medium Density Residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, June 10, 2003 the City Council reviewed the preliminary plat for Alpine <br />Acres 2''a Addition; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants preliminary plat approval to Alpine Acres <br />2"a Addition contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated May 30, <br />2003, the Subject Property receiving a comprehensive plan amendment to change the land <br />use designation in the Comprehensive Plan from low density residential to medium <br />density residential and the property being rezoned from R-1 Single Family Residential to <br />R-2 Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.' <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Elvig <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-06-160 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
