Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 03-07-182 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING AN EXTENSION TO THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />ISSUED TO SAINT PAUL TERMINALS, INC. FOR A RECYCLING FACILITY, BASED <br />ON FINDINGS OF FACT #0652, AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a letter from Bradley Martinson of Bradley J. <br />Martinson Law Offices, who represents St. Paul Terminals Inc. (Applicant), requesting an <br />additional extension to the conditional use permit issued to St. Paul Terminals, Inc. for a <br />Recycling Facility on the property generally known as 14050 Basalt Street N.W. and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1 and Lot 2 (except the south 30 feet of Lot 2), Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park <br />Plat 2, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey Planning Commission reviewed the request for extension of <br />the conditional use permit on June 25, 2003 and recommended City Council deny the request. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Ramsey hereby voids and revokes the conditional use permit issued <br /> to St. Paul Terminals on June 26, 2001, as described in Resolution #01-06-241. <br /> <br />That the Applicant shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in processing this <br />conditional use permit extension request. Said expenses shall be paid within 15 days <br />of billing by the City. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br /> <br />
