Chairperson Nixt introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-06-131 <br /> <br />180565O <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A VARIANCE TO CUL-DE-SAC <br />LENGTH IN THE PROPOSED PLAT OF THE PONDS 2ND ADDITION AND <br />DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Royal Oaks Realty, Inc. (Permittee) has properly applied for a variance <br />from the maximum cul-de-sac length prescribed in Section 9.50.30, Subd. 4(g) on the property <br />generally located southwest of existing 145th Court and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Outlot B of The Ponds, Anoka County, Minnesota; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Outlots A and B of Wood Pond Hills 4th Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Adjustment met on June 6, 2002, conducted the public hearing <br />and adopted findings of fact relating to the request for a variance from the maximum cul-de-sac <br />length requirements on the Subject Property. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows <br /> <br />Based on Findings of Fact #0615, a variance to the 600-foot limit on the length of cul-de- <br />sacs, as established in Section 9.50.30, Subd. 4(g) of the Ramsey City Code, is hereby <br />granted for the development of the Subject Property. <br /> <br />The variance allows for a road ending with a temporary cul-de-sac to be constructed up to <br />a maximum length of 840 feet. <br /> <br />The Permittee shall be responsible for all City costs incurred in administering and <br />enforcing this variance. <br /> <br /> <br />
