The EDA discussed the ma~ter and the two Councilmembers <br />who serve do not want to be compensated £or their attendance. <br />Additionally, the Charter states that Councilmembers will not be . <br />compensated for other meetings where they are functioning in an official <br />capacity. <br /> <br />Other Commissions Members are compensated at a rate of $ 25 per meeting <br />and Chairs are paid $ 30 per meeting. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />To approve compensation to the EDA at a rate of $25 per meeting for <br />members and at $30 per meeting for the Chair and to waive the payment for <br />the Councilmembers who serve. <br /> <br /> <br />
