Please have all three
agreements signed by your mayor/townboard chair, city clerk and attorney. It is not necessary to have
the attorney sign the agreement; however, the city clerk and mayor/townboard chair must sign the
agreements.

Section 3 has two additional definitions - multi-unit households and "opportunity to recycle".

Municipal responsibilities, which were added in the 1998 Anoka County Solid Waste Master Plan, are
included in Section 4 on page 2. In summary the section includes six public information components
and a requirement that those municipalities which did not make their 1998 goal develop a plan which
will enable the municipality to reach its 1999 goal.

In Section 4 on page two the letter c. has been whited out. It was a typographical error and we choose to
not reprint the agreements. If this is a problem for your attorney, please let me know and I will have
new agreements made up.

Thank you for your continued efforts in helping offer county residents an opportunity to be good
stewards of the environment. We are looking forward to a successful year with your help.

Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer
