Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-03- RESOLUTION APPROVING 3RD PARTIAL AND FINAL PAYMENT TO JULIAN M. JOHNSON CONSTRUCTION FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-18 (EXTENSION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS TO BUSINESS PARK 95 FIFTH ADDITION) WHEREAS, on August 11, 1998, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #98-08- 168 approving this project; and WHEREAS, on September 9, 1998, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #98- 09-218 awarding the bid to Julian M. Johnson Construction for the extension of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and streets to Business Park 95 Fifth Addition (Improvement Project #98-18); and WHEREAS, previous payments have been made to Julian M. Johnson Construction for Improvement Project #98-18 amounting to $184,183.10; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski inspected the completed work and recommended final payment to Julian M. Johnson Construction in the amount of $9,693.85. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Julian M. Johnson Construction for the extension of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer and streets to Business Park 95 Fifth Addition (Improvement Project #98-18) in the amount of $9,693.85. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of March 1999. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
