Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-03-xxx <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECORDING $81,735 AS AMOUNT SPENT TO UPGRADE THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY'S COMPUTER NETWORKING SYSTEM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 27, 1998, City Council authorized the bid for computer network <br />hardware and sof~are in the amount of $47,867; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey's 1998 budget authorized $100,000 for computer <br />upgrades for year 2000 compliancy based on a computer audit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this cost did not include costs associated with labor, phone lines, Windows <br />98, Office 97; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution #98-10-263 stated that the additional costs would be supplied at <br />a later date when a more detailed summary of costs could be provided; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the total costs of upgrading the City of Ramsey's computer networking <br />system amounted to $81,735 for the year ending December 31, 1998. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City is hereby authorized to approve the $81,735, which was the amount spent to <br />date in year ending 1998, to upgrade the City of Ramsey's computer networking system <br />and make it year 2000 compliant <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor:' <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained; <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 23~ <br />day of March, 1999. <br /> <br /> <br />
