Ramsey Fire Department <br /> Report for March 1999 <br /> <br />incident Calls <br /> <br />The R~msey Fire Department responded to a total of 24 calls during the month of March. The <br />YTD calls the RFD has responded to through March is 66. The breakdown of the incidents for <br />March is as follows: <br /> <br /> Fire Related 17 <br /> Rescue/Personal Injury 7 <br /> <br />A detailed report of these incidents is provided later in the report. Also is a graph showing cu:rent <br />Y'rD incidents of both fire and rescue. <br /> <br />Training <br /> <br />The following training ,ook place in the month of March: <br /> <br />3/3/99 Search and Rescue 3 hr <br /> In-House Staff <br />3/17/99 Shock Management/MAST 2 hr <br /> Medics Training <br />3/24/99 Grass Fire Prep 2 hr <br /> In-House Staff <br />3/31/99 Major Maintenance 2 hr <br /> I <br /> In-House Staff j <br /> <br />The following training is planned for April: <br /> <br />4/7199 Communications <br /> <br />4/21/99 <br /> <br />Medical Drill (Oxygen/Airways) <br /> <br />4/28/99 Ladders <br /> <br />Major [~laintenance <br /> <br />Ordered 2 additional bladder type grass fire backpacks <br />Ordered misc. adapters for hoselines <br />Purchased and rec'd additional heat gun, placed on Engine #1 <br />Opti-coms are installed <br />Repaired corner beacons on Tanker #1 <br />Repaired/replaced all compartment lights on Engine #2 <br />Rec'd playpipe nozzle, placed on Engine #1 <br /> <br />Medical Supplies <br /> <br />Defibrillator battery inspected and changed <br />Ordered new oxygen regulators to replace current recalled regulators <br /> <br />SCBA's <br /> <br />Changed filter on compressor <br />All harnesses and bottles inspected with no problems found <br /> <br /> <br />
