For example, a <br />city can require that all peddlers,, solicitors, and transient merchants conduct their <br />business only between thc hours of 8:00 a.m 9:00 p.m.. A city, however, must be <br />careful not to be so rcstri~vc with hours that. the average wortd~g person would not <br />be home when called upon by a solicitor or peddler. In addition, a city can prohibit <br />peddle~, solicitors, and transient merchants from c~lli~g a~_e~ntion to themselves by <br />thc u~ of whl.ed.~, horns, loud noise devi~,zmplifiers, and fla~hlng light~.
