I would like to ask
a question. My question to the council is I
happen to live right on the corner of Sunwood
Drive and County Road 5. They want to put a
bike path right through our yard. Our
driveway backs onto Sunwood. There are times
when I am backing out of my driveway, and it's
difficult already to see somebody coming, now
I'm going to have thousands of more cars using
this road?

Plus, when I go to turn into my
driveway, and I have to make a left-hand turn
across the traffic to try to get in my
driveway, now my driveway is going to be used
as a community pathway? I am going to run a
child over someday, and it's going to be on my
head, not yours, not yours, or any of you
other council members here. And I do not want
to leave my home that I've worked hard for.

But I can't live there and have to worry about
it. Some of these children are going to be
coming back and forth in front of my driveway.

The other question I have is, is the
city -- if this were to happen, is the city

ADAMS COURT REPORTING (612) 421-2486
