Councilmember Wise introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />none <br />and the following abstained: <br />none <br />and the following were absent: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -04 -084 <br />RESOLUTION RELATED TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR THE DYSPROSIUM STREET <br />NW RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, STATE AID PROJECT 199- 110 -006 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has planned the improvement of Dysprosium Street <br />NW, State Aid Route No. 199 - 110 -006 from Bunker Lake Boulevard (CSAH 116) to Nowthen <br />Boulevard (CSAH 5) in the City of Ramsey, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on the <br />improvement of this street; and <br />WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both <br />sides of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street <br />project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City of Ramsey shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on the east side of Dysprosium <br />Street NW at all times. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Backous and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Wise <br />Councilmember Backous <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Tossey <br />RESOLUTION #11 -04 -084 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
