Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Anderson, <br />Hendriksen and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. - - - .. <br /> <br />Case gll: Information Item: Burger King Site Plan <br /> <br />Community Development Assistant Walther stated that the City Council approved a <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment to expand the Metropolitan Urban Services Area <br />boundary and extend municipal sewer and water to the Burger King site on the northwest <br />comer of Highway #10 and Ramsey Boulevard. The applicant and City staffhave been <br />working with M_nDOT to resolve issues relating to access onto Highway gl0. Minor <br />modifications resulted to the approved site plan as a result of the facility now being <br />developed with City services and resolution of the Highway #10 access. With respect to <br />the Highway #10 access, Dolphin Fast Foods entered into an agreement with MnDOT <br />and the Anoka West Pet Hospital to the west for a shared access onto gl0. Mr. Walther <br />noted the updated plans fi.om Dolphin Fast Food Development and noted that there is no <br />action necessary. This is simply an update for Council. <br /> <br />Case #12: Consider Purchase of Piano for Senior's Area (City Hall) <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec presented some information relating to a digital piano he is looking at for <br />the Senior's area in City Hall. He noted that it does not have to be tuned and temperature <br />and humidity change do not affect it. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Haas Steffen to spend up to <br />$1,000 for a digital piano for the senior's area of City Hall and that the funding should <br />come fi.om the Council Contingency Fund. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Anderson suggested maybe the Lions Club would be <br />interested in putting some money toward this purchase. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
