City approval/denial is necessary under the State Statues. The Waverly Gun, Rifle <br />and Pistol Club meets all of the requirements which allows them to remain exempt fi:om <br />licensing, primarily from the standpoint that the commodities to be raffled are valued at less than <br />$750.00 <br /> <br />While the Game Fair is a few months away, the Anoka County Pheasants Forever #13 will be <br />sending out ticket information throughout the country upon approval of this application, and <br />those tickets cannot be mailed until approval has taken place. <br /> <br />Approval requires nothing more than a motion followed by a letter to the Gambling Control <br />Board, while if the request is denied, a formal resolution for denial would need to be prepared <br />and submitted to the Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br /> <br />
