Consent #9 Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-06- RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-63 (CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER AND WATERMAIN ALONG SUNFISH LAKE BOULEVARD) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted May 25, 1999, a report has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #99-63 (Construction of Sanitary Sewer and Watermain along Sunfish Lake Boulevard) [previously known as Improvement Project #99-10]; and WHEREAS, the report was received by the Ramsey City Council on June 8, 1999, which indicates the following: Estimated total cost of project $145,184 Estimated total lateral assessment - $ 83,694 Estimated total trunk assessment $107,225 Estimated annualassessment with interest PIN27-32-25-41-0004 PIN27-32-25-41-0005 PIN27-32-25-41-0006 PIN27-32-25-41-0003 PIN27-32-25-41-0002 $ 8,290 $ 8,290 $ 7,510 $ 17,688 $ 5,417 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of construction of sanitary sewer and watermain along Sunfish Lake Boulevard in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of $145,184. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of July, 1999 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. 3) That consideration will be given by the City Council for deferring assessment to such parcels choosing not to connect until such time as they are ready to connect or such property is sold.
