<br />2030 Comprehensive Plan Update, Zoning Ordinance Update,
<br />Form Based Design Requirement Manual

<br />Tina served as project manager
<br />for preparation of the City's 2030
<br />Comprehensive Plan Update, and
<br />immediately after completed a full update
<br />to the Zoning Ordinance that included new
<br />downtown and general mixed use districts,
<br />new business park district and a form
<br />based design requirement manual for all
<br />commercial, industrial and mixed use zoning
<br />districts.
<br />Mixed use districts were created to allow
<br />for increased residential density along
<br />Highway 61 within city's downtown and
<br />major commercial corridor. This increased
<br />density coupled with strong design
<br />standards intensified an area with existing
<br />infrastructure rather than extending growth
<br />prematurely.
<br />The form -based design requirement
<br />manual serves as an effective regulatory
<br />tool to illustrate the site, building and
<br />sustainability design standards required
<br />within the ordinance.
<br />Throughout the update process, Tina
<br />worked closely with staff and the
<br />Planning Commission with periodic
<br />reviews, input and final adoption.
