Akin Riverside Historic <br />Promenade Master Plan <br />Anoka, Minnesota <br />The Riverside Park Master Plan <br />was developed in a public <br />planning process in which <br />residents attended workshops <br />and indicated priorities for <br />improvements to the historic <br />riverfront area. <br />Improving the Rum River water <br />quality while filtering the <br />existing storm sewer outlet was <br />a high priority. <br />Other priorities included <br />restoration of riverfront <br />vegetation, public trails, <br />overlooks, park pavilion and <br />picnic areas and expression of <br />Anoka's history on the river. <br />2001 Plan Completed <br />for City of Anoka <br />
