Planning Projects <br />Representative Projects Completed by Mr. Weber <br />Application Review, Zoning Administration and Municipal <br />Planning <br />Served as the consulting city planner to the City of Vadnais Heights from <br />1978 to 1993 and from early 2010 to the present time. Reviewed all <br />applications for land development, negotiated design improvements, <br />coordinated closely with City staff, presented recommendations to the <br />Planning Commission, Parks Commission and Council, maintained the <br />zoning and subdivision ordinances and the comprehensive plan, and <br />conducted special plans and studies. <br />Served as the consulting city planner to the City of Oakdale from 1979 <br />through 1983 and performed the same duties as in Vadnais Heights. <br />Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances <br />Directed the complete revision of zoning ordinances in Green Bay, <br />Wisconsin, and in Vadnais Heights, Oakdale and Wyoming, Minnesota. <br />Wrote zoning ordinance amendments for the cities of Richfield, Brooklyn <br />Center, Hutchinson and Lilydale, Minnesota; Rock Springs, Wyoming; <br />Roswell, New Mexico; and Thornton, Colorado. Prepared amendments to <br />subdivision ordinances in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Roswell, New <br />Mexico. <br />Led the complete redrafting of the Sherburne County Zoning Ordinance. <br />Rewrote portions of the zoning ordinances for McLeod and Renville <br />Counties. Drafted a rural clustered housing ordinance in Greene County, <br />Missouri. <br />Urban Design Guidelines and Form -Based Regulations <br />Wrote and illustrated urban design guidelines for commercial, residential <br />and multi -use districts. Guidelines have been prepared for municipal district <br />plans such as the Arden Hills County Road C District Plan, the Eau Claire <br />West Riverside District Plan, the Vadnais Heights City Center District Plan, <br />and the Brooklyn Park Northern Area Plan. Similar work for the private <br />sector includes the Astra Village Development Guidelines.
