Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-07- RESOLUTION DECLARING CITY EQUIPMENT EXCESS AND AUTHORIZING SALE AND/OR DISPOSAL WHEREAS, the City has determined that the following City equipment is no longer functional: Estimated Quantity Number Description _~ 1 933 Blue metal desk 10 years + 1 932 Blue metal desk 10 years + 1 934 Blue metal desk 10 years + 1 466 Simplicity snowblower 10 years + 1 Unknown Kimball uptight piano 10 years + 1 957 Black metal desk 5 years 1 937 Black metal desk 5 years I 067 Orange metal desk 10 years + 1 068 Orange metal desk 10 years + 1 Unknown Orange metal desk 10 years + i Unknown Gray metal desk (originally donated) 7 years 7 T.R. Systems computers 5 years 2 Spectrum monitors 5 years 1 935 Tan metal desk 5 years 1 Upright piano (originally donated) 15 years + 1 610 1984 International Snowplow Truck 15 years NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the following items are hereby declared excess and to be disposed of in the following manner: 2) a) b) c) Two orange metal desks will be sold to the City of St. Francis. 1984 International truck will be sold through a sealed bid process. All remaining excess property will be sold or donated. The City Administrator is directed to publish notice of said excess property items.
