CITY OF RAMSEY 1999-2003 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT TITLE: 153rd/155th Avenue Ext (Variolite to Cty Rd #83) PROJECT TYPE: Street Improvement PROJECT YEAR: 1998/1999 TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $916,000 OJECT DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION ect consists of land acquisition and construction of 0.7 miles of MSA roadway 155th and Variolite to 153rd Avenue and Armstrong Boulevard. PROJECTr Start Date 'ROJECT JUSTIFICATION 1991, 153rd Avenue was completed from County Road #5 to County Road #56. The segment between that location and Variolite Street has been completed for some time. Also the segment between County Road #83 and State Highway #10, the western edge of Ramsey, has existed for a number of years. What remains to be completed is the segment between Street and County Road #83. This will complete an east-west collector street covering a distance of more than six iles from Roanoke Street to State Highway #I0. It is also intended that all of the land, most of which is wetland, south. ~fthe right-of-way be purchased for an eventual nature preserve. I ;ummary of Total Project Costs: A.
