Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City Council authorized a celebration event to commemorate the City's 25-year <br />anniversary. A planning Committee was formed and as part of that planning, the 25th <br />Anniversary Committee has been organizing a parade. The parade would take place at 4 <br />p.m. on September 18, 1999, on 153rd Avenue between Alpine Park and the north police <br />driveway. We expect that the parade will last no longer than one and one-half hours. <br /> <br />Melissa J. Petrangelo, chair of the parade for the anniversary celebration, will be <br />responsible for the conduct of the parade and its organization.
