Case #10: Adoption of the 1997 Uniform Fire Code Fire Chief Kapler stated that every three years the Uniform Fire Code (UFC) is revised and should be adopted by the State of Minnesota's Fire Marshal's Office. The 1994 revision was not adopted by the State, making the 1991 revision the most current one. The City of Ramsey is also operating under the I991 revision. In the spring of 1999, the State of Minnesota's Fire Marshal Tom Brace formally adopted the 1997 revision of the UFC. Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to accept that the 1997 Uniform Fire Code be adopted as the cities fire code standard. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, and Zimmennan. VotingNo: None. Case #11: Anderson-Dahlen/Knoll Properties LLC Document Amendment City Attorney Goodrich stated that in April and May, the Council entered into a certain agreement with Yd~oll Properties LLC including a TIF Agreement and approval of certain revenue bonds. Counsel for the Developer and its lender require certain amendments to these documents. City Attorney Goodrich reviewed the amendments that are to be made to the agreement. Motion by Councihnember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to execute certain legal documents relating to Anderson-Dahlen, Inc. and Knoll Properties LLC, which amendments are to be consistent with the integer of the project as identified in the Council's ohginal actions on this subject. Motion catu'ied. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman and Anderson. Voting No: None. Case #12: Report from Finance Committee 1) Establishment of Capitalization Threshold for Fixed Assets The Commiltee provided direction to staff. 2) Increase of Sewer Rates The Committee tabled this item until more information is received.
