Voting No: None. 7) Accept Resignation - P'ablic Works Maintenance Worker Administrative Services Manager Pruitt Hottinger stated that Public Works Maintenance Worker Brian Inhot resigned on July 23, 1999. His last day of employment with the City will be July 30, 1999. Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve the resignation of Public Works Maintenance Worker Brian Ihnot. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, Anderson, and Connolly. Voting No: None. 8) Authorization to Fill Vacant Public Works Maintenance Worker Position Administrative Services Manager Pruitt Hottinger stated that the Public Works Department has an opening for a Public Works Maintenance Worker due to the resignation of Brian Ilmot. The starting salary range for the position is $11.57 to $12.00 per hour. As with other maintenance worker appointments, the new hire will work in both the streets and parks/utilities division as needed. Ms. Pruitt Hottinger also asked if Council would be in agreement with the job opening posted only internally. Mayor Gamec stated that he had no problem with an internal posting. Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Mayor Gamec, authorizing Staff to proceed with the process to fill the opening internally for a Public Works Maintenance Worker position in Public Works. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Anderson, Connolly, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT 1) Right-of-Way Ordinance Councilmember Hendriksen requested City Attorney Goodrich review a right-of-way ordinance and consider application for the City.
