I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #99-09- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RESTRICTING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF T.H. #47 AND C.S.A.H. <br />#5 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey ("City") has submitted to the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation, the plans and specifications for the construction of T.H. #47, C.S.A.H. #5, and <br />Sunwood Drive ("Streets"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City will be expending Municipal Street Funds on improvements of <br />these Streets; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both <br />sides of the Streets; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street <br />project must, therefore, be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the approved state aid standards, as applicable to this project, limit and <br />restrict all parking to that which is parallel with the curb. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City shall ban the parking of motor vehicles at all times on T.H. #47 from STA. <br /> 12+514.9 to 15+508.0 and also on C.S.A.H. #5 from STA. 5+075.9 to STA 5+466.9. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 14th day of September, 1999. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
