Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Council authorized a TIF development agreement with Direct Enclosures, for <br />construction of a facility, which will be located in Energy Industrial Park, on July 13, <br />1999. As part of the negotiations to initiate the project, the City of Ramsey would <br />receive payment from the City of Anoka for the release of an electrical transmission line <br />location agreement entered into on March 22, 1996 (map attached to case). In order for <br />the City of Ramsey to receive payment from the City of Anoka, all parties involved in the <br />original electrical transmission line location agreement would need to terminate the <br />agreement of March 22, 1996. A termination agreement has been prepared and signed by <br />the City of Anoka. Both the City of Ramsey and Connexus Energy will need to agree to <br />the termination agreement. As was agreed upon through negotiations for the Direct <br />Enclosures development project, the City of Ramsey will receive $43,984.14 as payment <br />for the termination of the electrical transmission line location agreement (agreement <br />attached to case). <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to authorize execution of,a termination agreement of an electrical transmission <br />line location agreement executed on March 22, 199iS,cor~fingent upon review by the City <br />Attorney. ~;c'-'..i ~ <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br />CC: 09/28/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
