Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />c^s~ #/,,~ <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City Council has been made aware of the need for local information services support in the <br />past. The computer services have been decribed as "Local Area Network Services", <br />"Information Technology Services" and "Computer Network Support" and "MIS". The City <br />Administrator met with InfoTech of Arden Hills who performs similar services for the Cities of <br />Andover, Champlin and Vadnais Heights (description of InfoTech attached to case). <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff has discussed with InfoTech a possibility of entering into an agreement. InfoTech would <br />provide local information services support for the 'City of Ramsey at a cost of $80.00 per hour. <br />An agreement with a block-time has been drafted by InfoTech and is attached to this case. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to authorize the City Administrator to enter an agreement with InfoTech of Arden Hills <br />to provide local information services support for the City of Ramsey at $80.00 a hour. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />Attachment <br /> <br />CC: 9/28/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
