LL-/ Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #99-10- RESOLUTION APPROVING 2m) PARTIAL AND FINAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-16 (BITUMINOUS PAVING OF BISON STREET FROM 171ST AVENUE TO A POINT 1000 FEET SOUTH THEREOF) WHEREAS, on October 13, 1998, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #98-10- 246 ordering the bituminous paving of Bison Street from 171st Avenue to a point 1000 feet south thereof (Improvement Project #98~16); and WHEREAS, on May 11, 1999, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #99-05-90 awarding the bid to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project #98-16 in the amount of $36,587.50; and WHEREAS, previous payment has been made to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project #98-16 in the amount of $34,105.56; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $4,655.03. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. for the bituminous paving of Bison Street from 171 st Avenue to a point 1000 feet south thereof (Improvement Project #98-16) in the amount of $4,655.03. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of October, 1999. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same:
