Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #99-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE NAME "ELMCREST PARK" FOR THE 83 <br />ACRE PARK WEST OF T.H. 47 AND NORTH OF 160Ta LANE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all developed or significant park spaces in the City of Ramsey have <br />names except for the newest acquisition which is intended to serve as a Community park; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission sponsored a name the park <br />challenge; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, several nominations were received and evaluated by the <br />Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, "Elmcrest Park" was selected by the Commission for its historical <br />reference to the land which will be a park for perpetuity; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the process and name for the park meets with the intent of <br />Resolution #91-06-138 -Public Facility Naming. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1.
