Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #99-11-XXX <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON MODIFICATION OF THE <br />TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLANS FOR TAX INCREMENT FINANCING <br />DISTRICT NOS. 1, 2, 4, 5 AND 6 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey ("City") has previously established its Development <br />District No. 1 (the "Project") and Tax Increment Financing District Nos. 1, 2, 4,5 and 6 (the "TIF <br />Districts") pursuant to Minn. Stat. Sections 469.124 to 469.134 and Sections 469.174 to 469.179 <br />(the "Act"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to consider a modification of the tax <br />increment financing plans ("TIF Plans") for the TIF Districts, and to hold a public hearing <br />regarding those actions in accordance with the Act. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City, and its staff and consultants, hereby authorized and directed to cause to be <br />prepared a modification to the TIF Plans, and to file a copy of such documents in City <br />Hall. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is authorized and directed to prepare a notice for publication <br />in the City's official newspaper setting a public hearing before the City Council on <br />December 14, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers on the TIF Plans. The notice <br />shall be published in the newspaper at least 10 days but not more than 30 days prior to the <br />public hearing, and shall include a map of each TIF District. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the City, its staff and consultants are authorized and directed to transmit a copy of <br />the modified TIF Plans (or fiscal impact information related to the TIF Districts) to the <br />County Board and School Board at least 30 days before the date of the public hearing and <br />to take all other actions necessary to bring such plans before the City Council at the time <br />of the public hearing. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br />
