Board Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION tt99-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO SIDE AND FRONT YARD SETBACK <br />REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ACCESSORY BUILDING. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Patrick Gould, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied <br />for a variance from Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code for an accessory building that is <br />located nearer the front property line than the principal structure and encroaches on the side yard <br />setback on the property generally known as 9205 Ermine Blvd. N.W. and is legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />That East 233.22 feet of the North 433.01 feet of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest' <br />Quarter of Section 6, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota as measures along <br />the North and East lines of said Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (Subject to <br />easement for road purpose over the East 33 feet thereof and over the South 33 feet thereof) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Board of Adjustment conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the <br />Ramsey City Code on May 4, 1999, and that said public hearing was properly advertised, and <br />that the minutes of said public heating are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by <br />reference. <br /> <br />2. That the subject property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential and is approximately 2.3 acres in <br /> size. <br /> <br />3. That the subject property is surrounded by R-1 Rural Residential zoning developed with <br /> single family homes. <br /> <br />4. That. Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code does not permit the construction of accessory <br /> buildings nearer the from property line than the principal structure. <br /> <br />5. That Section 9.20.11 of the Ramsey City Code requires a 35 foot side yard setback on comer <br /> lots. <br /> <br />That the principal structure on the subject property is approximately 100 feet from .the front <br />property line and Garage B (see Exhibit A attached) is approximately 75 feet from the front <br />property line. <br /> <br /> <br />
