EDA # <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br /> 1999 BUSINESS SUBSIDIES LAW <br />Cindy Sherman, Community Development Director <br /> <br />In 1999 the Legislature passed a new law regarding business subsidy agreements. The law <br />regulates the type of assistance that can be provided and who is eligible for the assistance. The <br />law also requires that the City develop criteria for providing assistance. A summary of the law <br />from D-TED is attached.
