Commission what to do but you could direct staff, tonight, to bring an ordinance for <br />introduction for this property and any other area you deem fit. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen stated she understands we want to pay some attention to <br />sensitive areas in the City. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman felt that we should start a moratorium and look at the <br />sensitive areas. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen understood that Council could not direct the Planning <br />Commission but wondered if they could ask them. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich replied yes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen asked if staff could have same conversation with the <br />developer to which Mr. Goodrich replied yes. You could suggest that you may be <br />placing a moratorium on the area and that he might consider withdrawing his request at <br />this time. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Haas Steffen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to bring <br />a moratorium ordinance to the December 3, 1998, 5:00 p.m. meeting to request <br />introduction. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Haas Steffen, Beyer, <br />Beahen and Zimmerman.
