CASE #1

ADD PROPOSED TRAIL SEGMENT TO THE PARK AND TRAIL PLAN MAP
By: Mark Boos, ParksfUtilities Supervisor

Background:

At the February meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission, the consensus was that a trail
should be provided for along the north side of the railroad tracks between Ramsey Boulevard and
Armstrong Boulevard. This would also serve the proposed technical college site.

As you will recall, the Commission did not take action on this addition - preferring to wait until
after the trail meeting in the event there were other ideas expressed for inclusion on the map.
The attached map shows proposed trail segments in the area above. These additions, if approved,
can be made on the master map and then future maps can be produced with the revisions.

Commission Action:

Motion to approve any additions or deletions to the Park and Trail Plan Map.

Reviewed by:

Parks/Utilities Supervisor

Copies also distributed to:

City Administrator
Director of Public Works
Community Development Director
Zoning Administrator
City Engineer

PR:03/11/99
