CASE #2 <br /> <br />DETERMINE OUTDOOR MEETING SCHEDULE <br />By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />For the last several years, the Park and Recreation Commission has held the regular meetings <br />outdoors in the months of May through September or October. This provided the Commission <br />an opportunity to inspect and comment on parks as a group and it afforded residents access to the <br />Commission on a neighborhood level. On a few occassions of inclement weather, the <br />Commission conducted the meeting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. The purpose of this case is to <br />determine if the Commission desires the outdoor meetings for 1999 and, if so, what the locations <br />should be. <br /> <br />The following parks are proposed as the shelter and initial landscaping should be completed at <br />Alpine Park by June and the tennis court at Central Park should be finished for inspection prior <br />to the July meeting. <br /> <br />May: <br />June: <br />July: <br />August: <br />Sept.: <br />Oct.: <br /> <br />Alpine Park <br />Central Park <br /> <br />After the Commission decides where (or if) the meetings will be held, their locations will be <br />published in the Ramsey Resident newsletter. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Determine if outdoor meetings will be held in 1999 and, if so, their locations. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />PR:03/11/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
