AGREEMENT <br /> <br />An agreement related to easements and pipeline installation between the City of Ramsey (City) <br /> and Northern Natural Gas Company. (Northern) <br /> <br />Whereas, Northern has submitted a request for additional easement rights and temporary <br />easements related to several parcels owned by the City; and <br /> <br />Whereas, the City has reviewed the sites and proposes that in addition to the easement <br />agreements and related compensation that Northern agrees to complete the following: <br /> <br />General (all sites) · All areas will be restored to the original grade unless agreed to otherwise. <br /> · All traces of wheel rut-ting and compaction by equipment will be removed by grading <br /> or a shatter tine plow if requested by the City. <br /> · Ail non-maintained disturbed areas will be re-seeded in native grasses and forbs with <br /> MnDot 20A Southwest Mix. <br /> · Any debris or buried junk uncovered shall be removed at the expense of Northern. <br /> · Northern or its contractors shall cease work and notify the City if any archeological or <br /> biological items o£interest are encountered. <br /> Tree relocation staking shall be performed by Northern and approved by the City. <br /> · All tree counts and flagging for relocation shall be performed by Northern. <br /> · The City shall be notified of entry onto the property 48 hours (business day) prior to <br /> equipment arrival. <br /> · For trees that can't be moved they shall either be replaced with a similar tree or shall <br /> be compensated for at $40 per caliper inch up to 3 inches and $15/inch over 3". <br /> <br />Ermine Creek Park <br /> · Alt trees excluding elm and boxelder under 3" DBA shall be relocated to the south <br /> property line, (including a 5' Scotch pine near the right-of-way of Ermine Blvd.) <br /> · Approximately 25, 3'-5' Spruce and Pine trees shall be moved from the Brookview <br /> Nursery to the south park line. The trees to be moved will be flagged by the City. <br /> · All trees not transplantable in the park will be chipped and those wood chips will be <br /> spread around the base of the relocated trees. <br /> <br />Unnamed Trail <br /> · No action necessary other than requirements identified under General <br /> <br />Shawn Acres Park <br /> · Two small trees at the northwest corner of the park shall be relocated to any voids on <br /> the north tree line. The large ash in the same area may be removed (including stump <br /> and roots) at a compensation of $350 or a 3.5 caliper deciduous tree may be planted <br /> and staked elsewhere in the park. <br /> · All maintained turf area that is disturbed shall be reseed with an approved sunny turf <br /> grass mix. <br /> <br /> <br />
