"PULTE Master Builder
' Mendota Heights, MN 55120-1
August 18, 1999 .~~

Attn: Mr. Gary Grant
Attn: Mr. Dennis Griswold

Dear Gentlemen:

Thank you for your time and effort in both Comprehensive Plans to the
Sunfish Lake Preserve. We border the lower part of the proposed acreage and
are moreover concerned about the loss of the beautiful landscaping, trees and
wild life to the area, so have been very pleased with both proposals [more so
with the newest plan as it seems to preserve even more beauty].

We have searched the Intemet looking up Pulte Home Builders and have been
very impressed with the comments left by homeowners, also by the size of your
company, as well as the number of years you have been in business, as you
stated in your initial meeting in mid-July.

I (Donna) grew up in the Anoka area and have seen the many d/verse changes
take place over the years and, for me, my feelings are two-fold: On one hand,
it is sometimes hard to see the land being developed and the wild life being
pushed out, but on the other hand it is progress that has made our community
what it is today. Sometimes, there is give and take. Progress is progress, money
is money, but there are some things that the allmigh(y buck can't buy and that is
tree beauty ...... for me it's the landscape, the animals, and pure enjoyment of
both. Just last night the Great Homed owl that has taken up temporary
housing in one of our trees came back to catch a midnight snack.
