RAMSEY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> BODY SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />Foampro Plumbed to multiple Discharges <br />MULTIPLE DISCHARGE OPTION <br /> <br />The quantity of additional discharges specified shall be capable of discharging foam. A manifold <br />shall be constructed and plumbed to the foam system to allow these specific discharges to be <br />capable of discharging foam. <br /> <br />One Integral 20 Gallon Poly Foam Tank <br />FOAM TANK <br /> <br />There shall be an integral 20 gallon poly foam tank furnished with the poly booster tank with a <br />level indicator on pump. The foam tank shall be plumbed with non-corrosive piping to the foam <br />system. The fill neck shall have a hinged lid with a hold down device. There shall be a drain <br />valve furnished for drainage of the foam tank. <br /> <br />3" Tank to Pump Line <br />TANK TO PUMP LINE <br /> <br />There shall be a 3 1/2" Waterous or equivalent ball valve with 4" piping connected with flexible <br />hose from the tank to the pump. Valve shall be mounted to pump with the control handle located <br />on operators panel. (min. reg. flow 500 GPM NFPA 1901 STD 15-3.2) <br /> <br />3" Check Valve <br />TANK TO PUMP LINE CHECK VALVE <br /> <br />There shall be a 3" check valve furnished in the tank to the pump line to prevent back flow into <br />the tank. (NFPA 1901 STD 15-3.3) <br /> <br />One 1 1/2" Tank Fill/Re-circulation Line <br />TANK REFILL/RE-CIRCULATING LINE <br /> <br />One 1 1/2" pump cooling/re-circulating, tank fill line from the pump direct into the booster tank <br />with one valve controlled the on operator's panel with a permanent type label.
