Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -05 -XXX <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />#09 -24; COR WETLAND MITIGATION <br />WHEREAS, on January 11, 2010 the Ramsey Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br />ordered Improvement project 09 -24; COR Wetland Mitigation, called for the preparation of <br />plans and specifications, and authorized a request for proposals to solicit quotes and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the request for proposals for Improvement 09 -24; COR <br />Wetland Mitigation, quotes were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and <br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the bids that were received: <br />Contractor Bid <br />Sandstrom Land Management $18,170.00 <br />Minnesota Native Landscapes $26,375.00 <br />Prairie Restorations, Inc. $35,929.00 <br />Applied Ecological Services, Inc. $39,652.14 <br />Engineer's Estimate $25,000.00 <br />WHEREAS, Sandstrom Land Management is the lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with Sandstrom Land Management for Improvement Project 09 -24; COR Wetland <br />Mitigation in the amount of $18,170.00, and <br />2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />RESOLUTION #11 -05 -XXX <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
