Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11-05- <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT TO <br />EXCEED SIGN REGULATIONS ESTABLISHED IN CITY CODE. <br />WHEREAS, Allina Medical Clinic properly applied for a conditional use permit to <br />exceed sign size and number restrictions as established in City Code on the property generally <br />known as 7231 Sunwood Drive and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Ramsey Town Center 14th Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />("Subject Property") <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission met on May 19, 2011, conducted a public <br />hearing, and recommended City Council approval of the request. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. Based on Findings of Fact # , a conditional use permit ("Permit") to exceed both the <br />allowable number of signs as well as sign size is hereby granted to Allina Medical Clinic <br />("Permittee"). <br />2. The Permittee is herein granted permission to erect two (2) wall signs, one (1) monument <br />sign and two (2) directional signs on the Subject Property. <br />3. The wall signs shall not exceed thirty-seven and a half (37.5) square feet and eleven (11) <br />square feet in size. <br />4. The monument sign shall not exceed twenty-five (25) square feet in area and the logo height <br />shall not be greater than twenty-four (24) inches. <br />5. The wall and monument signs shall not project outward from the wall to which they are <br />attached more than six (6) inches. <br />6. The directional signs shall not exceed three and three quarters (3.75) square feet in size each, <br />shall be individually mounted on posts not exceeding six (6) feet in height, and may contain <br />the company logo and name <br />7. The installation of the signs on the Subject Property shall require a sign permit from the <br />City of Ramsey (the "City"). <br />8. The signs shall be properly constructed and maintained in accordance with Division 8 (Signs) <br />& 117-118 (COR District) (f) (Signage) of the Ramsey City Code. <br />
