Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-03- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT # RELATING TO A REQUEST FROM GREGORY LANDOWSKI FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN OVERAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SPACE ALLOWED ON A PARCEL OF LAND, AND THE SINGLE BUILDING AREA AND HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Gregory Landowski for a conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory structure space and the size and height restrictions on any one accessory building on the property generally known as 6131 Green Valley Road and legally described as follows: Lots 10 and 10A, Block 1, Gre~n'~Valley Estates 2~a Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota (the" Subject Property") . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating to the request are determined to be as follows: 1. That on March 2, 1999, Gregory Landowski, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly applied for a conditional use permit to exceed the total amount of accessory structure space and single building size and height restrictions on the Subject Property. That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public heating pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on March 2, 1999, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. ~ 3. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. 4. That the Subject Property is approximately 10 acres in size. That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels of land 9.6 acres and larger, the total square footage of the main garage and all accessory structures shall not exceed 5,264 square feet and no single accessory structure shall exceed 4,400 square feet. That the Applicant maintains horses on the Subject Property and is proposing to construct an indoor riding arena.
