9.02 Definitions <br /> <br /> Conditional Use: A use which may be appropriate in a specific zone, but may <br />require special conditions imposed by the Council as it may create special problems with regards <br />to the protection of the public welfare, the integrity of the municipal land use plan, and/or the <br />zoning district in which it is located. <br /> <br /> Conditional Use Permit: A permit issued by the Council in accordance with <br />procedures specified in this chapter which permit is required in order to carry on a "conditional <br />use" as defined in this chapter. <br /> <br /> Covenant: A contract between two individuals which constitutes a restriction of <br />a particular use of land. <br /> <br /> Coverage: That portion of a lot covered by principal and accessory use <br /> and may include impervious surfaces if it is so indicated in the individual zoning <br /> <br />strtlctures, <br />districts. <br /> <br />Density: A number expressing the ratio of dwelling units to an acre of land. <br /> <br /> District: A section or sections of the City for which the regulations and <br />provisions governing the use of buildings and lands are uniform for each class of use permitted <br />therein. <br /> <br /> Domestic Sewage: Sewage that might be generated by a dwelling; a toilet <br />facility at an establishment open to the public; rental units, such as motels and resort cabins, or <br />showers and toilet facilities for schools or campgrounds. <br /> <br /> Domestic Waste Water: Any water generated by a use used for personal <br />hygiene such as lavatories and related sinks. This def'mition shall apply only to §9.20.25 and <br />§9.20.27 (RB and RI) of this Chapter. <br /> <br />Draining: The removal of surface water or groundwater fi:om land. <br /> <br /> Drive-In Establishment: An establishment which accommodates the patron's <br />automobile from which the occupants may receive a service or in which products purchased from <br />the establishment may be consumed. <br /> <br /> Driveway: An on-site traffic lane leading directly to a garage from the closest <br />street access, the width of which cannot exceed the garage width by more than 15 feet, or in the <br />absence of a garage, a traffic lane to a parking pad that cannot exceed 20 feet in width. <br />Dwelling Unit: A residential building orportion thereof intended for occupancy by one family <br />including apartments but not including hotels, motels, nursing homes, seasonal cabins, boarding <br />or rooming houses, tourist homes or trailers. <br /> <br /> <br />
