9.11.02 Accessory Uses. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. Every private in-ground swimming pool or commercial <br />fishing pond shall be enclosed by a fence or wall not less than four feet high to prevent <br />uncontrolled access by small children. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. The exterior storage of not more than one automobile which <br />does not have a current license plate shall be considered an accessory use, but V~vo or <br />more shall constitute an auto salvage business and shall not be permitted as an accessory <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Any proposed accessory building shall be located on the parcel <br />of land so as to allow for orderly future resubdivision of a parcel on which the building is <br />to be located. Prior to issuance of a building permit for the building, the applicant shall <br />provide the building inspector with a sketch plan showing the location of the proposed <br />building. The building ~ official shall not issue the permit if the b":!~k~g <br />_.~.~wv.: ..... '~-~ '~'~-~:--~...~.v..._.~ the proposed location will not allow for orderly future Subdivision <br />of the parcel. <br /> Subd. 4. Two story and/or split level accessory ~ buildings are <br /> prohibited in any zoao Residential district. <br /> <br /> d. In residential distriets, shed and/or gable dormers which do not <br /> exceed one-third the length of the bearing wall (sidewall) <br /> below shall be allowed in the upper level (attic area). <br /> <br /> e. Knee walls, cripple walls or cantilevers anywhere on the upper <br /> level (attic area) are prohibited in residential districts. <br /> <br /> Subd. 6. No part of an accessory building :h~! be !~cate~ ;:-[~2n extend <br />into .any required setback area other than the rear setback where such building may <br />extend to within five feet of the rear lot line. ' <br /> <br /> Subd. 7. No accessory building shall be located nearer the front lot line <br />than the principal building on that lot (this provision shall not apply to attached garages <br />that maintain compliance with the front yard setback). <br /> <br /> <br />
