Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-06- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />BASED ON FINDINGS OF FACT # AND DECLARING TERMS OF PERMIT FOR <br />PRIVATE DOG KENNEL TO MAINTAIN MORE THAN TWO DOGS ON A PARCEL <br />OF LAND. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution No. 99-06~ adopting <br />Findings of Fact # for this use and herein approves the Conditional Use Permit subject to <br />the following conditions. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />On , 1999, a Conditional Use Permit ("Permit") was issued by the City of Ramsey <br />("City") to Robert and Rita Knoll ("Perm!.ttee") for a private dog kennel to maintain more than <br />two adult dogs on the property generally known as 6020 151" Lane N.W. and legally described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 2, Block 2, Fox Knoll, Anoka County, Minneso/a <br /> <br />("Subject Property"). <br /> <br />This Permit is issued pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code. The conditions of <br />this Permit are as follows: <br /> <br />t. This Permit shall remain in effect so long as the conditions imposed herein are complied <br /> <br />2. This Permit shall allow for the maintenance of a maximum of four (4) adult dogs on the <br /> Subject Property and adult is defined as any dog over three (3) months of age. <br /> <br />3. That the dogs shall be kenneled indoors and the use of an outdoor kennel is prohibited any <br /> time there are more than 2 dogs being maintained on the property. <br /> <br />Upon confirmation of any complaints of odor or noise problems relating to the dogs, the <br />City may take action to abate the nuisance in accordance with Section 5.09.03 (Dog <br />Regulations), subd. I8 (Dogs Disturbing the Peace), of the Ramsey City Code, attached <br />hereto as Exhibit A. <br /> <br />That the outdoor exercise area as depicted on the site plan received by the City on April 27, <br />1999 shall be maintained in a sanitary condition according to State and local humane <br />standards. <br /> <br /> <br />
