The proposed substation will be located on the recently created lot described as Lot 1, Block 2, A.E.C. Energy Park Fourth Addition. This facility is needed to allow for the continued provision of a high quality of electrical energy to Ramsey's commercial/industrial areas. Included in the application packet is a complete site plan, including landscape, drainage plan for the substation lot and pictures showing a similar substation located in St. Francis. As indicated by the pictures the substat'ion will be of a low profile design having a lower profile then the station located behind the Ramsey Municipal Center. We are currently proposing to deviate from the standard policy of curbing and paving of' the access until 143~d Avenue NW is constructed. This delay in the paving and curbing will last for approximately one ),ear as the station will be completed in June of 2000 and 143rd Avenue is slated for construction in 2001. At that time, we would like to discuss the possibility of adding our Project to the road-paving project to reduce the potential for confusion and damage to either project.
