9) Receive Recommendation for Appointments to Charter Commission <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to post four <br />Charter Commission openings in the Resident and the Anoka Shopper with an application <br />deadline of the end of November and that the review committee be made up of the City Council <br />less any member seeking appointment to the Charter Commission and that the review board <br />make a recommendation to the full Council. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, and <br />Anderson. Voting No: Councilmember Connolly. <br /> <br />Councilmember Connolly stated that she voted no, because in her opinion Councilmembers <br />should not be appointed to Commissions. <br /> <br />10) Public Works On Call Policy Development <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Connolly, to authorize the <br />Public Works On Call Policy be used for a trail season of 1999-2000 and report to the Public <br />Works Committee throughout the season. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Connolly, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen.
