SeF ......... November 8, 1999 Draft

e

Future Land Use Calculations
The following table represents a tabulation of land uses as a percentage of the
total land area based on the future land use plan. The tabulations assume a
complete build out of the community, which may or may not happen within the
lifetime of this plan. Each area includes a portion of the overall road fight-of-
way. Park and Open Space includes the landfill, privately owned golf courses
and the Boy Scouts of America camp grounds in addition to public park lands.
Although this plan shows the eventual depletion of agriculture lands in Ramsey
in terms of a land use category, it is anticipated that agriculture activities that
occur today may still occur in the Permanent Rural areas. The agriculture land
located in areas designated as urban residential, places to work or other urban
uses will continue to be fanned until such time that the property owners decide to
develop in accordance with the development staging plan or sell to development
interests.

Table V-2 Future Land Use Calculations

Future Land Use Categories

Acres % of Total

Permanent Rural (Not in MUSA)
Rural Preserve
Rural Developing

1,972 10.6%
8,766 47.3%

Urban Residential (In MUSA)
R !
