At a recent lunch celebrating the fourth anniversary of Anoka Enterprise Park,
Bob Kirchner, Anoka community development director, reported the business
park is filled to its current capacity. John Harwood, Hakanson Anderson, said
work to improve and expand the intersection of Thurston Avenue and Highway
10 at the park's entrance has begun, and will be followed by improvements at
Thurston Avenue and County Road 116. Tom Redmann, representing the Eco-
nomic Development Commission, while noting the pleasing aesthetics of the
indust, rial park, said, "The goal is to develop the park with a quality presentation,
and efficiency within the park. What people see as they drive through the park
reflects on people's images of the businesses. The landscaping and sign. age has
done a good job in presenting a positive, high standard image."
