making an application for a permit and obtaining <br />said permit from the Department for each specific <br />installation, replacement, alteration, repair or <br />extension pursuant to this SECTION. A permit shall <br />not be required only for the work identified under <br />Section 8.30.03 b. above of this SECTION. Such <br />permits are not transferable as to person or place. <br />Such permits shall expire 12 months after date of <br />issuance. <br /> <br />Posting of Permits. Permits shall be displayed by <br />permittee at the time of inspection upon request of <br />inspector. <br /> <br /> b. Permits Not Required. Permits shall not be required only <br />for the following: <br /> <br />1. Repair or replacement of pumps, floats or other <br /> electrical devices of the pump or baffle in a <br /> septic tank. <br /> <br /> c. Property Owners Doing Own Work. Property owners who may <br />be permitted to construct or repair ISTS on their owns properties <br />shall be exempted from providing proof of a State license but shall <br />be required to execute a signed indemnification agreement pursuant <br />to Subdivision 3.31 of this SECTION. Property owners doing their <br />own work must comply with Section 8.30.03 a. above as well as other <br />applicable provisions of this SECTION. A property owner shall have <br />either a current license issued by the MPCA for Designer I or II if <br />they wish to perform the site evaluation or design their owner <br />ISTS. Pressurized systems or mounds cannot be constructed by <br />anyone other than a licensed installer. <br /> <br />Indemnification Agreement. The permittee shall <br />provide a signed agreement to the Department which <br />indemnifies and saves the City, holding it harmless <br />from all losses, damages, costs and charges that <br />may be incurred by the City due to the failure of <br />the permittee to conform to and comply with the <br />provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />d. Permit Application Requirements. <br /> <br />Ail applicants for a ISTS permit shall include the <br />following information: <br /> <br />(a) <br />(b) <br /> <br />name and address of property owner; <br />Property identification number; <br />Legal description of the property; <br />ISTS Designer Name, address, phone number and State <br />ISTS License number; (or Department qualified <br />employee name and number); <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I, <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
